The Kings Arms has stood on Old Amersham's medieval High Street since the 1400s. Once a coaching inn welcoming travellers on the road through the Chilterns, it has been a constant presence in this remarkable market town for more than six centuries.
Today it is a 4-star hotel — warmly restored, attentively run, and still very much at the heart of Old Amersham life. The building retains its character: exposed timbers, low ceilings, and the pleasing sense that the walls have stories to tell.
If that sounds familiar, it might be. The Kings Arms featured as a filming location in Four Weddings and a Funeral. We like to think we've moved on since then.
