Kings Chapel is a beautifully converted historic Chapel in the heart of Old Amersham, licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships. With exposed stonework, arched windows, and an atmosphere that no purpose-built venue can replicate, it seats up to 120 guests for your ceremony.
The Chapel is part of our group, sitting alongside The Kings Arms Hotel. Your guests can arrive, celebrate, and retire to their rooms without ever leaving Old Amersham's medieval High Street. We've spent six centuries perfecting the art of welcome — your wedding day is in good hands.

For smaller, more personal celebrations — up to 50 of your closest family and friends — The Kings Arms itself makes a wonderful setting for your wedding breakfast or reception. Exclusive use of our Restaurant & Lounge, six centuries of character, and a menu built around you and your guests.
It's an easy, unfussy way to celebrate — ideal if you're marrying elsewhere and want somewhere special to bring everyone together afterwards, or simply prefer a more intimate day surrounded by just the people who matter most.
