A discount scheme for customers local to Old Amersham — the more you visit, the more you save on food and drink.

How It Works

The Kings Arms Hotel's Members' Loyalty Scheme is a discount scheme offered to customers local to Amersham (within a 10-mile radius). It offers scaled discounts based on your number of visits in a rolling 28-day period. There are three membership bands, and your band is updated automatically based on how often you visit.

What counts as a visit

  • Visits are counted on days you have a transaction at the hotel, bar or restaurant. Present your fob at the bar when ordering so it can be logged against your transaction.
  • Visits are counted by unique date — multiple visits or transactions on the same day only count as one visit.
  • A single transaction can only be logged against one member's fob, and it must be presented when ordering or before paying. We're unable to backdate a transaction after it's closed.
  • A transaction with the member associated is required — we can't allocate visits for members who aren't making the final payment (for example, rounds bought by someone else).

Applying for your fob

  • Complete the application form below. Your application will be processed and your fob activated within 14 days.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any application, at the discretion of the issuing manager, with no appeal route offered.
  • Fobs remain the property of the company at all times, cannot be redeemed for cash, and have no cash value.
  • A charge may be levied for replacement fobs, at the discretion of the General Manager.
Remember — no fob, no discount.

Who can join

Local residency
You must have a resident UK, Channel Island or Isle of Man address, with a postcode within a 10-mile radius of The Kings Arms Hotel, Amersham. Please let us know if you change address.
Age
You must be 18 years old or over to hold or use a Kings Arms Hotel Loyalty Fob.
Individual use
Fobs are for individual use by the named owner only, and cannot be applied to parties, private group bookings, or functions with an already-agreed unique price. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.

Members' Loyalty Fob Terms & Conditions

The Kings Arms Hotel is the trading name of Old Amersham Hotels Ltd.
Registered address: The Kings Arms Hotel, 30 High Street, Old Amersham, Buckinghamshire, HP7 0DJ.
Company registration number: 08106219.
  1. These terms and conditions govern the use of The Kings Arms Hotel's Members' Loyalty Fob and set out the terms of contract between the Company and each member. A member can register by making an application and receiving a member's green fob. By applying to register, you accept the Company's terms and conditions of use.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse any application for any reason, at the discretion of the issuing Manager. No appeal route is offered.
  3. The Company reserves the right to change or withdraw the Loyalty Scheme at any time, without prior notification. You must be 18 or over to hold or use a fob. All members must have a resident UK, Channel Island or Isle of Man address, with a postcode within a 10-mile radius of The Kings Arms Hotel, Amersham — changes of address must be notified to us.
  4. All loyalty fobs remain the property of the Company at all times, may not be redeemed for cash, and have no cash value. The Company reserves the right to terminate your account if, in our opinion, you commit any act we deem inappropriate — termination is immediate, with no cash payment or other compensation provided.
  5. Fobs are designed for individual use by the owner only and cannot be applied to parties of any size, private group bookings, or functions where a unique price has already been agreed.
  6. Discount fobs cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, such as our weekly Fishy Friday deal.
  7. A charge may be levied for replacement fobs, solely at the discretion of the General Manager.
  8. All offers are subject to availability. You may not be able to use your fob in conjunction with other offers, or on certain dates such as bank holidays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, or special events.
  9. Loyalty Fobs, along with any discounts and offers, may not be sold or transferred to any other individual or collector.
  10. You can terminate your membership at any time by advising us in writing.
  11. Joining the Members' Loyalty Fob scheme does not require you to sign up to marketing communications. When you apply, you may separately and optionally consent to receive news, offers and updates by email — this choice has no effect on your loyalty membership or fob, and you can withdraw your marketing consent at any time without affecting your membership.
  12. The information in these terms and conditions is subject to change without notice. We may vary these terms at any time by publishing the varied terms on our website — you accept that this constitutes sufficient notice of any changes.
  13. Information and materials connected to the Loyalty Fob scheme cannot be replicated without prior written permission. You may not post, distribute or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademarks or other proprietary information without permission.
  14. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute.
Note: Clause 11 previously made signing up to newsletters a condition of joining the loyalty scheme. That has been corrected — marketing communications are now a separate, optional choice, matching the consent checkbox in the application form above.
