Old Amersham Hotels
The Kings Arms Hotel and Kings Chapel — together with our sister hotel, The Crown Inn, a short walk away — offer meeting and conference space for 2 to 120 delegates, with over 70 bedrooms between the two hotels for residential events. Set in the historic Chiltern market town of Old Amersham, we're 35 minutes from London Marylebone and 25 minutes from Heathrow by car.
Meetings & Conferences
Space for 2 to 120 delegates
Our main conference venue is The Kings Chapel, reached through the stable entrance behind The Kings Arms and set around its own private walled garden. It offers three configurable spaces:
| Room | Size | Theatre | U-shape | Classroom | Cabaret | Boardroom | Banquet |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Main Hall | 12.84m × 11.08m | 50 | — | 40 | 50 | 18 | 120 |
| Reception Room | 9.8m × 6.4m | 50 | 16 | 20 | 18 | 20 | 40 |
| Boardroom | 8.58m × 6.51m | 40 | 16 | 20 | — | 20 | 24 |
The Main Hall's banquet capacity of 120 refers to Kings Chapel — our largest single space — rather than the hotel restaurant.
Accommodation & Catering
Delegate packages
A dedicated conference team can put together half-day, full-day or residential packages — unlimited tea, coffee and water, a working lunch or buffet, room hire, and overnight accommodation at The Kings Arms or The Crown Inn where the event runs over more than one day. Buffet, sandwich and barbecue-style catering menus are available, including vegetarian and vegan options throughout.
